Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video where she was announcing her endorsement of Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano that was in the attic. She was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to make music as a means of personal growth, rather than for the purpose of making money or for to pursue an interest. In order to do so, she began writing new compositions. Alongside Bjork, she cites Leonard Cohen as an influence. When her mother told her that the songs she composed might not make her famous however, but to encourage individuals to recognize their own value and impact to this world, she started performing them publicly. When she began playing the piano, she was only six and was writing her first song when she was nine. This was not known by her family until she turned fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. The only thing she loves is writing songs. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
