Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She works as an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation occasionally. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was a bilingual since the age of nine years old. This is a beneficial skills that helped her get her first position as a production associate at Univision in Miami where she had the opportunity to work alongside producers of national television shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. In 2009, the CBS station in St. Petersburg hired her in the following year as the sports reporter. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley, Texas for work as an anchor for the newscast of the Spanish station KNVO TV 48 Univision and Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories related to illegal immigration as well as drug trafficking along the Texas and Mexico the border. She worked as a reporter for news on Fox2 News, which is a Spanish channel KNVO TV48 Univision and Fox2 News. In addition, she covered anchors on sports and weather. Later, she was anchor and reporter to Univision's Dallas affiliate Deportes 23 where she was assigned more responsibility. The girl was born on November 22nd, 1985 in Mexico City. Also, she has a sibling. In 1992, the family moved out of Mexico and moved to Miami. They divorced soon afterwards and in 1995, she got married to a naval designer called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo was diagnosed with kidney cancer. In the summer of 2006, she visited a week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. A senior in high school but having an idea of about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta went to The University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her goals. It turned out that she loved the campus and they had the program that she had been looking for. She finished her education and was accepted into the University for a master's degree in media studies. Her instructor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a participant in her class built a relationship that lasted for a lifetime with the student. Professor Mark Bergmann influenced her with his enthusiasm in journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
